How to Change Timecode in Adobe Apps

Premiere Pro

For a Sequence: Right-click the sequence in the Project panel > select "Sequence Settings". Change "Display Format" in the "Video Previews" section, or click the Timeline panel's hamburger menu (≡) > "Start Time..." to set a new start timecode.
For a Clip: Right-click the clip in the Project panel > "Modify" > "Timecode". You can set a new timecode value for the first frame of the clip.

After Effects

For a Composition: Go to "Composition" > "Composition Settings..." (or use shortcut Cmd+K / Ctrl+K). You can change the "Start Timecode" and "Duration".
For a Footage Layer: Right-click the footage in the Project panel > "Interpret Footage" > "Main". In the "Timecode" section, you can conform the frame rate or set a starting timecode.
